Fox Business host Larry Kudlow says it is clear President Donald Trump isn’t interested in ‘phony Iranian peace discussions’ on ‘Kudlow.’
Larry Kudlow says the end is near for Iran. He is not guessing.
President Trump said this week that the war ends one way or another very quickly. Trump has already told people Iran lost more than 90 percent of its income because of the blockade. That is the kind of math that ends regimes.
The U.S. Navy has sealed Iranian ports. More than 90 percent of Iran’s seaborne trade used to move through the Strait of Hormuz. That trade powered roughly 90 percent of the country’s economy. Oil loadings have been near zero since September. The last floating stocks outside the blockade are gone. Analysts tracking the tankers say the final payments from China could dry up by mid-December. After that, Iran has nothing left to sell.
🚨 IT’S OFFICIAL: President Trump just pulled off what the “experts” said was IMPOSSIBLE
“More oil came out of the Hormuz Strait over the last week than at any time previous — including BEFORE THE WAR.”
“Remember when Iran said, we’re going to block up the Strait, and they did? And then I said, ‘but we’re going to block up THEM.’ So they haven’t gotten ONE barrel of oil for a long time. They’re not exactly doing too well.”
🔥🔥
Iran tried to choke the world’s oil supply and ended up choking itself!
Oil moves freely for everyone EXCEPT the mullahs that started it
Trump’s strategy with Scott Bessent and Pete Hegseth worked.

The rial has crashed. It now takes more than 2.6 million rials to buy one dollar in open markets. Inflation sits near 70 percent and has been higher. Food prices have doubled for many families. The central bank still claims everything is fine. The numbers say the opposite. Salary and pension payments are already late in the oil sector, manufacturing, construction, and parts of the security forces. CENTCOM says the blockade has already cost Iran at least $25 billion in oil revenue. The regime is funneling money from its own militias back to the IRGC just to keep the core going.
If Iran were a democracy, this would already be over. Voters do not tolerate empty shelves and worthless money for long. They throw the government out. Iran is not a democracy. It is a theocracy run by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Those men control the guns, the prisons, and the money that is left. They have spent decades learning how to survive sanctions. They will let ordinary people suffer first. That is why the streets have not exploded yet.
🇺🇸 🇮🇷 HUGE NEWS! – THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ IS OPEN
So why is oil still almost $100 a barrel??? Because insurance and convoy costs went through the roof. The oil moves, it just costs more to move it.
IRAN: “The Strait of Hormuz is closed!”
Somebody forgot to tell the 24.5 million barrels a day still moving through it.
That’s the latest from Kpler for the week ending October 18, and it actually tops the pre-war average of 24.4 million. Oil is flowing like the war never happened.
Iran threw everything at it. Drones, missiles, mines on the tankers, a blacklist now up to 121 banned ships, the Revolutionary Guard flat out declaring the strait shut.
And here’s the part that stings for Tehran. While they were playing pirate, the US blockade dropped Iran’s own oil exports to near zero.
CENTCOM says the strait is open. The barrels agree.
Even Capital Economics says Iran would have to get a lot more aggressive to take back control of that water. Paper tiger!

How long can they last? Not years. The reserves that kept the lights on are shrinking. Once the last oil money arrives and is spent, the regime has to choose. It can print more worthless rials and watch prices soar higher. It can stop paying the troops and the Basij. Or it can try to cut a deal that Trump has already said he does not want. History shows these systems can hang on longer than outsiders expect. They can also break suddenly when the security forces stop getting paid.
Kudlow is right that the economic screws are tight. Trump has shown he will use the blockade and, if needed, more strikes after the election. The regime in Tehran still thinks it can wait the Americans out. That bet looks worse every week the oil stays in the ground and the rial keeps falling.
