Jim Gilmore, former Virginia governor, RNC chair and ambassador to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, says the US has made a dramatic reversal in its policy toward Ukraine and argues Americans deserve an explanation for the shift. Gilmore calls Russian President Vladimir Putin a war criminal, rejecting special envoy Steve Witkoff’s characterization of Putin as a humanitarian, and says the US should continue standing behind Ukraine. He also says a plan involving Russian diesel and oil would put money into Russian pockets. He speaks with Joe Mathieu and Kailey Leinz on Bloomberg’s "Balance of Power."
