Bloomberg’s Wendy Benjaminson said that President Trump is balancing shoring up support from tech firms for his vision of an AI future with a base that remains anti-immigration, as the Trump administration suspends an immigration program for multiple tech firms including Microsoft. Benjaminson also discussed President Trump’s announcement on Truth Social that the US would not be striking Iran until after the midterm elections, saying that even without strikes voters aren’t going to forget the impact of war with Iran on affordability.
