Wall Street finally embraced crypto staking. It just found two ways to charge you.
Wall Street spent years telling clients that crypto had no real use. This week it launched a fund that stakes your Tron for you, takes a cut of the rewards, and charges 1.10% a year on top.
Scott Melker’s point is that the industry never warmed to crypto. It found the fee.
He also digs into Circle’s $400 million bet on Singapore payment rails, Iran letting exporters bring earnings home in Bitcoin and Tether, and a Zcash ETF that crossed $500 million with only about $70 million of outside money in it.
