Former Federal Reserve governor Kevin Warsh is taking the hot seat on Tuesday for his Senate Banking Committee confirmation hearing.
President Donald Trump told CNBC ahead of the hearing that he will be disappointed if Warsh doesn’t cut interest rates “right away” after being confirmed as the next Fed chair.
