Beginning at 10 am ET today, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell testifies to the House Financial Services Committee. This is part of his semi-annual testimony before Congress. Yesterday, Powell went before the Senate. Powell was careful not to offer a timeline for interest-rate cuts, which investors are now betting will begin in September.
