A Federal Elections Commission filing to run for president in 2024 in the name of Mike Pence caused quite a stir late Monday evening, however a spokesman for Pence denies he is behind the filing.

In response to a query by Greg Price who had tweeted out the filing, O’Malley claimed the filing was a prank by someone, “I think someone pranked you.”

Pence has been thought to be positioning himself for a 2024 presidential run, Axios recently reported. However, a Wall Street Journal poll released two weeks ago show President Trump crushing his former vice president 63% to 28%.
