Port of LA’s Gene Seroka on drop in cargo during 90-day tariff pause

Gene Seroka, executive director of the Port of Los Angeles, said on Wednesday that the port will see a 25% drop in incoming cargo for May. In comparison, imports fell 50% for the port in March 2020 at the outset of the pandemic.
