Time for a look back at this day in history. 22 years ago, when the software company Roxio bought the name Logo Domain Technology and other intellectual property of notorious music sharing company Napster, founded by Shawn Fanning and Sean Parker, the peer to peer file sharing service relied on the relatively new coding format M.P. three that allowed people to pass audio files around different devices no matter the operating system. They were there, reaching as many as 80 million registered users in barely one year of existence.
