Acting Labor Secretary Julie Su calls the monthly jobs report an "anomoly" due to labor strikes and two massive hurricanes that hit the US. But she says overall labor trends are still positive. US hiring slowed down in October with only 12,000 nonfarm payrolls added, the lowest since 2020. Estimates called for job growth to be 100,000. Su is on "Bloomberg Open Interest."
