Rubrik (RBRK) has officially made its debut on the New York Stock Exchange, opening at at $38.60 per share and briefly hitting a high of $40. The cyber security company has heavy backing from tech giant Microsoft (MSFT) and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Rubrik Co-founder, Chairman & CEO Bipul Sinha talks to Yahoo Finance Executive Editor Brian Sozzi to discuss Rubik’s debut on the New York Stock Exchange and what investors can expect moving forward.
Sinha explains why AI and cybersecurity will be paramount for businesses and how his company can help: "AI fundamentally is based on data. If you don’t have integrating data, if you don’t have trust in your data, AI is garbage in/garbage out. Every business has to make sure that their core asset, that is data, is protected, available on the right platform, at the right time, for the right duration for models to work, for models to infer and give you business intelligence. Our focus is that your data is secure and available so that you can run AI as well as BI."
