Video shows overnight explosions in the Venezuelan capital of Caracas as the Latin American nation accused the US of launching an attack on the country. The first blasts were heard around 2 a.m. local time, according to residents. The Venezuelan government said military and civilian targets had been hit across three regions. The White House didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. CBS News cited US officials as saying that President Donald Trump had given the order to strike.
