The Federal Reserve cut rates by 25 basis points at its October meeting. In the press conference after, Fed Chair Jerome Powell said that a cut at the December meeting was "not a foregone conclusion — far from it."
In an interview with Yahoo Finance Federal Reserve Reporter Jennifer Schonberger, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago President Austan Goolsbee said that he is "uneasy with front-loading rate cuts" and that inflation data remains "worrying."
