Israel launched strikes against Hamas in Gaza and reportedly suspended all aid shipments on Sunday after blaming Hamas for a lethal Palestinian ambush that left two soldiers dead. The Israel Defense Forces later issued a statement saying it had "begun the renewed enforcement of the ceasefire," adding it would "respond firmly to any violation of it."
