President Donald Trump said the US would impose a 30% tariff on Mexico and the European Union, which would take effect on Aug. 1 if the trading partners cannot negotiate better terms. Since posting the two letters on social media on Saturday, Trump told reporters the EU is talking to the US on trade. Bloomberg’s Bill Faries breaks down the situation.
