NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman told CNBC’s Morgan Brennan that the agency needs to rebuild a lot of its "core competencies that have been eroded or lost over the years."
"We’re launching moon rockets every three and a half years, when it should probably be every three and a half months like it was during the 1960s," Isaacman said.
