Alphabet has gone on a global bond spree, raising $20 billion in its biggest ever US dollar bond sale. Google’s parent company is also selling notes denominated in Swiss francs and sterling for the first time, including an ultra-rare 100-year sterling bond. It’s the first century bond issued by a tech company since the dot-com era.
