The US Supreme Court has scheduled its second “decision day” of the year on Jan. 14, providing another opportunity for the court to rule on the legality of three-quarters of President Donald Trump’s trade policy. Trump’s reliance on the International Economic Emergency Power Act (IEEPA) for his sweeping tariffs was seen as legally dubious from the start.
