Donald Trump says up to 50 million barrels of sanctioned oil from Venezuela will be shipped to the US, worth about $2.8 billion. Posting on Truth Social, the US President said the oil would be sold at market prices and he would control the money.
The White House has refused to rule out using military force to take control of Greenland, which President Trump sees as a national security priority. Denmark has requested a meeting with the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to, “clear up some of the misunderstandings that may exist.”
