New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced the creation of the Mayor’s Office of Mass engagement at his first major press conference at Brooklyn’s Grand Army Plaza. Mamdani told reporters that the aim of the office is dedicated to ‘rebuilding our social infrastructure at scale’ and ensure that city government listens to New Yorkers ‘consistently and with real consequence.’
