Pershing Square CEO Bill Ackman told CNBC on Tuesday that New York City should be the next city President Trump sends the national guard to if Zohran Mamdani wins the mayoral election. Ackman said Mamdani is “accurate in identifying the problems with the city,” pointing specifically to his focus on affordability and public safety, but said the Democratic nominee has the “wrong” policies for solving these challenges.
