42% of Americans approve of President Donald Trump’s handling of the economy, according to the latest CNBC All-America Economic Survey. Overall, the survey found Americans’ views of the economy turned more negative in the third quarter, as inflation, a softening labor market and government shutdown fueled concerns about the broader outlook.
