Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick says it’s "crystal clear" that President Donald Trump was justified in firing the former head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. “So they need new leadership in BLS, that’s for sure. They need new tech in BLS, that’s for sure. And Donald Trump needs to rely upon the numbers. America needs to rely upon the numbers,” Lutnick said on "Bloomberg Surveillance." BLS said it was having technical difficulties ahead of the August employment report.
