Bill Pulte, President Donald Trump’s housing finance chief, on Thursday said he believes Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is creating cause for his firing because he hasn’t announced an investigation into Fed Governor Lisa Cook for alleged mortgage fraud, adding that he thinks Powell doesn’t like Trump.
