Meta Platforms (META) reported second quarter results that topped Wall Street estimates on both the top and bottom lines. Earnings of $7.14 per share topped the Bloomberg consensus estimate of $5.89. Revenue was $47.52 billion compared to the estimate of $44.83 billion. The tech giant’s outlook for Q3 revenue was also better than analysts had been expecting.
Microsoft reported fiscal fourth quarter results that topped Wall Street estimates. Adjusted earnings were $3.65 per share compared to a Bloomberg consensus estimate of $3.37. Revenue was $76.44 billion, topping the expected $73.89 billion. The company got a boost from the strong performance from its Intelligent Cloud unit.
