President Donald Trump rejected South African President Cyril Ramaphosa’s argument that there’s no genocide against White Afrikaners, airing a video and showing images in the Oval Office that he said showed how they were beaten and killed. The meeting on Wednesday appeared to fulfill the worst fears of some of Ramaphosa’s advisers that the South African leader was walking into a trap. “Each one of those white things you see is a cross, and there’s approximately a thousand of them. They’re all white farmers,” Trump said, pointing to the video that aired on a television screen positioned to the side of the two leaders.
