US President Donald Trump arrives in Saudi Arabia. This was his first scheduled foreign visit since taking office.
Trump arrived earlier at Riyadh’s King Khalid Airport. MBS, as the Saudi crown prince is informally known, personally greeted the president on the tarmac of the royal terminal, dispensing with the longstanding protocol of visiting heads of state and other dignitaries being met at the airport by the prince governor of Riyadh.
