    While US President Donald Trump appears to be softening his stance on China to some degree, Chinese state media are slamming his trade policies. A People’s Daily quote attributed to Chinese President Xi Jinping says Trump’s tariffs are ‘hurting the legitimate interests of all nations.’ The US is also accused of attempting to ‘make the rest of the world pay tribute.’ Bloomberg’s Minmin Low reports.
