    Trump Tariff Confusion; What Nvidia Earnings Mean for AI Outlook | Bloomberg The Pulse

    European stocks dropped on Thursday morning in response to US President Donald Trump’s threat to impose 25% tariffs on European Union imports and as more corporate results from the region rolled in. Trump was asked during a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday whether he planned to move forward on imposing 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico on March 4. Trump announced the levies earlier this month, but then subsequently agreed to a month-long delay after leaders from both countries agreed to stricter border control measures. eanwhile chipmaker Nvidia delivered good-but-not-great quarterly numbers on Wednesday. The company also warned that gross profit margins would be tighter than anticipated as it rushes to roll out a new chip design called Blackwell.
