US stocks (^DJI,^GSPC, ^IXIC) are on track to record their best-performing week since the election. Dakota Wealth Management senior portfolio manager Robert Pavlik tells Wealth Host Brad Smith to share his cautiously optimistic market outlook and top stock picks.
Pavlik explains his cautious optimism, highlighting deregulation and corporate tax cuts under Trump are expected to boost earnings while potentially inflationary policies, like tariffs and mass deportation, are negotiating tactics and unlikely to happen, respectively. He notes, "Inflation continues to be a bit of a concern."
"I think we actually end up having a pretty good year," he says, adding his S&P 500 target represents 13% to 14% growth.
The portfolio manager names Lululemon (LULU), Cummins (CMI), and Quanta Services (PWR) as his top picks.
