Brian Thompson, a longtime UnitedHealth Group Inc. executive, was fatally shot in midtown Manhattan early Wednesday morning, the New York Police Department said. Police say he was shot in the chest outside the New York Hilton Midtown where the company was holding an investor day. The suspect is still on the loose. Thompson was CEO of the insurance division. Keith Powers is a Democratic New York City Council Member and represents the area where the shooting happened. He joined "Bloomberg Surveillance."
