Microsoft (MSFT) reported fiscal fourth quarter results that topped analyst expectations. Earnings of $2.95 per share was better than the $2.94 the Street was expecting. Revenue of $64.73 billion just beat the estimated $64.52 billion.
Cloud revenue was about in line with estimates, $6.8 billion versus the expected $6.84 billion; however, Intelligent Cloud, which is where its Azure business is counted, saw revenue fall short of expectations, $28.52 billion compared to an estimated $28.72 billion.
