It’s time for the econ version of the National Spelling Bee! More than 7,600 U.S. high school students entered the Council for Economic Education’s 2024 National Economics Challenge. Now, the final 32 standing will compete in the National Championships, hosted by CNBC’s Steve Liesman. There is a beginner (David Ricardo division) and an advanced (Adam Smith division) competition, with four teams of four of four students going head-to-head in each. Plus, there will be an international final in each division.
