Democrat Rep. Katie Porter (CA) used racist language and verbally abused staffers, according to a former aide.
Rep. Porter, who barely won her reelection against Republican Scott Baugh, came under fire this week after leaked text messages revealed she fired one of her staffers for supposedly giving her Covid.
The portly lawmaker got Covid in July and lashed out at her staffer, Sasha Georgiades, in private text messages.
Sasha Georgiades worked for Porter for two years as a Veteran and Service Member Liaison.

Monroe County, PA – The suspect accused of murdering four University of Idaho students in a horrific attack inside their off-campus home on Nov. 13 was arrested at his parents’ residence in Pennsylvania, police confirmed on Friday.
The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) confirmed that Bryan Kohberger, 28, was apprehended on the morning of Dec. 30, KHQ reported.

An Eastern Washington man was arrested on suspicion of killing four University of Idaho students at a home near campus.
The 28-year-old suspect, Bryan Kohberger, is believed to have been a student at the nearby Washington State University. His current residence is in Pullman, Washington.

A new investigation is showing that those COVID boosters are problematic, with those who get them more likely than those who have only the initial shot to get ill and even die.
The results are from the Epoch Times which explained it did its own investigation to obtain the results.
“Cases, hospitalizations, and deaths among the boosted have been increasing since the booster shots were first introduced in 2021,” the study said. “The boosters were promoted as bolstering protection against adverse outcomes.

President Jair Bolsonaro has departed Brazil on an Air Force plane for the USA, where his family already is. Vice President Antônio Hamilton Martins Mourão has assumed control of the government and has scheduled a national press conference for tomorrow, Dec. 31, at 8 pm local time.
Vice-President General Hamilton Mourão is an outspoken supporter of President Bolsonaro and has criticized the Supreme Court’s crackdown on pro-democracy protestors.
